Taking an exam

You don't need to register or create an account. All you need is the password your exam administrator gives you.

Start the exam

Enter the password you received on the start page and tap “Continue”. No login is required.

Choose your language

Choose your language. The available languages are those the exam administrator has enabled for this exam.

Personal details

Enter your name and fill in the extra field if one is shown (e.g. “table number”). What is asked here is defined by your exam administrator.

Answer the questions

Answer the questions one after another. Your answers are saved automatically as you go. Use the arrows to move forward and back.

Lost connection — what to do?

In the app: No problem. The exam continues offline — answer your questions as normal. You only need an internet connection again at the end, to submit your results. Simply reconnect at that point.

In the browser (Web): The web version needs a continuous internet connection. If it drops, your progress is still not lost: log back in and resume the exam using the recovery ID (see next point).

Recovery ID

If you need to resume the exam, ask your exam administrator. They will give you the recovery ID. Your progress so far is saved on the server — with the ID and the exam password you continue from where you left off.

If that doesn't work either (app only)

The app has a further recovery mode as an extra safeguard. This too is unlocked for you by your exam administrator. So in any case, contact the exam administrator — your work is not lost.

Finishing

When you're done, finish the exam. If any questions are still unanswered, you'll be warned beforehand. After submitting, you'll see a confirmation.

In short: your work cannot be lost. Whatever goes wrong, your exam administrator can get you back into the exam with the recovery ID.

Creating and evaluating exams

Wreggo has three channels: Web, iOS and Android. You create exams and view results on the Web; participants take the exam in the browser, on iOS or Android.

Web (wreggo.net)

On wreggo.net you create your exams and view the results.

Home

The home page holds the navigation and, occasionally, current update information.

Exams

This is where you create and manage your exams — your main workspace as an instructor.

Reports

Cross-cutting analyses and statistics across several exams.

Creating an exam

With “Create exam” you set up a new exam. You enter the basic details directly; you then add the questions either manually or via CSV import. When creating, you also choose the languages — multilingual exams are created right here.

Creating questions

Once the exam is set up, you add the questions. You can also add images to the questions and the answers.

Password system

After you create an exam, a password (key) is generated automatically. Your participants use it to take the exam directly on their device — in the browser, on iOS or Android.

Importing questions from Excel/CSV

Download the file to edit it:

  1. Open the file via the link
  2. Choose “File – Download – Excel”
  3. Edit the file

Prepare the file for import:

  1. Open the file via the link
  2. Choose “File – Download – CSV”
  3. Import the CSV file into Wreggo

From Excel: save the file as CSV, then import it into Wreggo.
